Driving a brand new car out of a showroom is a feeling that many people will not have the privilege of experiencing in their lifetime. The fact is the price of a brand new car is dramatically higher than that of a used car and therefore many people would rather look for used car dealers to buy their next car from. Unfortunately like everyone tells us, once you drive a brand new car out of the showroom the valuation of the car is no longer what you paid for it and that is because the car then becomes a second hand vehicle.
Searching for a used car doesn’t mean that you are guaranteed to find a bargain. The make, model, age, mileage and many other factors will depend how much you pay for your next used car. In my experience, Ford has always been a brand which I consider to produce reliable and affordable cars. I have owned a variety of used Ford cars ranging from a Ford Fiesta to a Ford Mondeo and a Ford KA to my latest car which is a Ford Focus.
When buying my latest used car it was a tough decision between the Ford Focus and the Renault Megane. There is not much between the two cars in relation to price. However when deciding which car to purchase, it was the fact the entire Focus range has emissions below 140g/km and the larger amount of head and legroom that made the decision easier for me.
The Ford Focus is also a great car. I believe its design means that it makes the experience of driving a car an easy, comfortable and pleasurable experience. Sometimes those long journeys up and down the country can be a real chore. But I find that with the handling of the Ford Focus I have found driving a real thrill like I did when I first passed my driving test many years ago when I used to drive down country roads for the enjoyment of driving. If you decide that your next car is going to be a used Ford Focus car, then I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
